Job Description As a Security Officer for Behavioral Clinic in Bellflower, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:30 PM - 06:00 AMFri09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSat09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSun09:30 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions at the location. Monitor access points and common areas, help to verify authorized entry, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions. Support a healthcare location by helping with wayfinding, visitor assistance, and security‑related interactions while maintaining professionalism and clear communication during routine and high‑activity periods. Minimum Requirements: Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
