Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site. Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited behavior, and/or property misuse through visible presence and professional interaction. Support retail and mall operations by assisting with crowd flow, directional questions, lost and found inquiries, and other security‑related concerns while maintaining a professional demeanor. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
