Marketing Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Marketing Procurement Specialist for a hybrid opportunity in Rahway, NJ. This role supports strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and procurement initiatives across Marketing Services categories, including advertising, media, digital marketing, creative services, market research, communications, print, and events.

This is a strong opportunity for a collaborative procurement professional who enjoys partnering with Marketing, Finance, Communications, and Legal teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. The role offers exposure to high-impact sourcing initiatives, supplier strategy, and process improvement work, with supportive cross-functional leadership and a team-oriented culture focused on driving value, efficiency, and business results.

Key Responsibilities

- Support sourcing strategies across Marketing Services categories, including advertising, media, digital marketing, creative services, PR, communications, print, market research, and events.
- Conduct supplier analysis, market research, spend analysis, and competitive sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations.
- Manage supplier relationships, track performance, support KPI reporting, and identify opportunities for cost optimization, innovation, and risk mitigation.
- Support contract review, negotiation, execution, renewals, and compliance activities in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams to understand business needs, provide procurement guidance, and support strategic sourcing and category management initiatives.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to procurement programs that improve operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $50 to $54 per hour.
- Location: Rahway, NJ.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver procurement guidance and sourcing support.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, marketing services, or a related function.
- Experience supporting sourcing events, supplier negotiations, RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract management.
- Knowledge of Marketing Services categories such as advertising, media, digital marketing, creative services, events, communications, PR, print, or market research.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel with Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Experience supporting global or regional procurement initiatives.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management methodologies.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
