Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized, group, and family therapy sessions using a culturally sensitive and evidence-based approach, ensuring that each client's unique circumstances and background are respected.

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients holistically, followed by developing tailored treatment plans designed to address their specific mental health challenges.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes medical staff, case managers, and peer specialists to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each client’s needs.

• Facilitate connections between clients and relevant community resources, allowing for a well-rounded support system and enhancing their recovery journey.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, providing immediate support to clients in distress, ensuring their safety while offering coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring each interaction is comprehensively recorded.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as a Social Worker will primarily focus on clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, life transitions, depression, and anxiety disorders. Many clients may be in the early stages of recovery from substance use disorders. Working with this population requires sensitivity, patience, and a deep understanding of the psychological complexities associated with addiction and mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California as recognized by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) obtained from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practices.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, showcasing proficiency in clinical assessments and therapy.
