What You'll Do

• Support cardiothoracic surgeons with preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Assist with complex cardiac procedures, including robotic surgeries
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RNs and support staff
• Manage adult patients in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Document clinical activities using Epic EMR
• Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during perioperative care
• Adhere to all hospital policies and standards of care

What You Need

• Valid Wisconsin State License and DEA registration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physician Assistant; 1 year in cardiac surgery as a first assist
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong skills in cardiac procedures, with familiarity in robotic surgery preferred
• Ability to work well in a team and handle a high-acuity patient population
