Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive history assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through critical interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab analyses.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies.
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and accurately passing instruments during operations.
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and imparting patient education.

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program.
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice.

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Eligibility or current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
