Fixed Term/ Secondment Until 31/12/26 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a community mental health nurse working within Dundee GAP CRHTT. Applications are welcomed from experienced RMN’s who wish to develop their skills in crisis assessment, intervention and home treatment. Dundee CRHTT provides 24h, 7 day per week crisis assessment, home treatment and early supported discharge service for individuals with mental health problems. The service is undergoing a period of redesign and transformation, and the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the ongoing delivery of the Tayside Wide Police Triage Service. Roles and Responsibilities Work as a lone worker in the community delivering specialist psychological and psychosocial interventions. Assess, implement and evaluate care for service users, accepting and/or delegating responsibility as required. Provide a supervisory role to junior members of staff within the team. Map and respond to crisis situations for individuals with a wide range of mental health problems. Support service users within their homes and communities, facilitating and enabling them to achieve recovery goals. Participate as part of a shift rota system, demonstrating flexibility to meet daily job requirements and to travel within the local area if required. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience working as a Band5 RMN with people who have a wide range of mental health problems. Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills. An open, honest, approachable and responsible attitude that supports excellent team working. Registered on Sub‑part1: RN3 of the UK NMC Register. Hours of work are 36 hours per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
