• Implement individualized therapy sessions focusing on aspects such as speech, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing difficulties.
• Work in tandem with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational and physical therapists, medical professionals, and family members to establish cohesive, patient-centered care plans.
• Provide guidance and educational resources to patients and their families, ensuring they are well-equipped for ongoing progress beyond therapy.
• Participate occasionally in inpatient therapy evaluations, fostering consistent care throughout the recovery arc.
• Maintain precise documentation in a timely manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within the first 30 days of employment.
