Accounting Manager-AR

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead high-volume billing and accounts receivable operations across multiple profit centers. This role serves as the day-to-day lead and subject matter expert, supporting a team of five and partnering closely with finance and operations to ensure accurate invoicing, strong controls, and healthy cash flow. This direct hire opportunity offers $85k-$95k.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily billing and AR activities, including invoicing, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely, accurate billing and resolve discrepancies
- Serve as escalation point for complex billing or system issues
- Support month-end close, reporting, and aging analysis
- Identify process improvements and support workflow enhancements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations
- Support training and onboarding of billing/AR staff
Qualifications
- 5 years of billing or AR experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience supporting multi-entity or multi–profit center operations
- Prior lead or senior-level experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
