Steel Fabricator Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:30pm to 04:00am) Fabricate structural steel according to specifications and blueprints Perform layout, fitting, and welding operations Measure and mark materials using a tape measure Lift, position, and move workpieces during fabrication processes Load, stack, and transport materials using cranes and other equipment Attach chains, clamps, and rigging for material handling Operate overhead cranes Clean and grind metal prior to welding, painting, or shipment Steel Fabricator Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years of structural steel fabrication experience Experience with layout, fitting, and welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong tape measure and math skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to read, write, and speak English Strong work ethic and attendance record Ability to follow instructions and work safely Excellent communication and teamwork skills Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
