Manager - Global Scientific & Medical Communication - CeraVe DMI

We are seeking a creative communicator to help drive the scientific innovation and medical visibility of CeraVe through the development and implementation of a global scientific and medical communication strategy and creation of content/materials for marketing towards health care professionals, including dermatologists, general practitioners, and pharmacists. You will translate scientific information and clinical study results into meaningful, business- and medically-relevant communication. In this role you will collaborate within the Global Medical Team and work cross‑functionally to increase the medical credibility and scientific position of the brand. This role will report to the Global AVP for Scientific Communications and Clinical Research for CeraVe. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Global Medical Communication Team on the global communication strategy, messaging, calendar, and content for health care professionals to promote worldwide recommendation. Create in‑office medical communication materials (sales aids, provider information leaflets, etc.) and support the development of omnichannel materials that communicate brand features, technology, and clinical data, competitively differentiated and patient‑solution oriented. Lead content and material creation for scientific communications, including writing and submitting scientific posters and publications, developing medical education webinars, peer‑to‑peer speaking programs, and creating symposia/speaker slide decks from clinical research and advisory boards. Collaborate on the ideation, design, and development of medical communication at global medical congresses. Collaborate with the Global Manager for Clinical Research on translating clinical study results into meaningful business conclusions for scientific and medical communication. Provide support to the CeraVe Global Team and Markets in localizing medical communication strategy and materials. Understand relevant dermatological disease states and competitive landscapes globally to contextually create professional marketing messages that drive recommendation share across all product segments. Work cross‑functionally with the Global Product Development/Marketing team and Research & Innovation Lab to provide insights and guidance on new product concepts, positioning, and development. Assist in developing advisory board calendars, preparation, and resulting asset creation in partnership with medical education agencies. Help communicate new patents, publications, literature searches, and major scientific congress summaries that could assist with new development or competitive response. Represent the CeraVe brand at major scientific congresses. National and international travel will be required. Qualifications 3–5 years of relevant working experience. Master’s, PhD, or professional healthcare degree (MD, PharmD, RN, NP) preferred. Preferred areas of study include life and social sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Neuroscience, Biological, Physical or Material Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related fields) or health care (Physician, Pharmacist or related fields). Relevant, transferable experience including scientific/medical training or education and medical/professional marketing (background in skin/dermatology preferred). Project management experience with multiple projects and varying priorities and a high level of detail orientation. Benefits Salary Range: $98,400 – $140,200 (the actual compensation will depend on a variety of job‑related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level).
