Step into a rewarding role providing individual occupational therapy services within a supportive school environment, working closely with students ages 5 to 14. In this contract position for the full 2026–2027 school year, you’ll deliver 1:1 OT sessions during the hours of 8 AM to 2 PM, focusing on a caseload that includes students with autism spectrum disorders, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other genetic disorders. Your work will center on enhancing student independence, life skills, and participation throughout their educational day.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong background in working with children with diverse abilities, including ASD, Down Syndrome, CP, and other developmental and genetic conditions
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 55 individual occupational therapy sessions per week according to student IEPs
• Assess student needs and develop goal-oriented, evidence-based treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions designed to foster fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Monitor, track, and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Consult and collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers for an integrated support approach
• Maintain compliance with all documentation, reporting, and procedural requirements
