Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New York
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school environment
• Knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to write and implement goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a 30-hour workweek effectively across a diverse caseload
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet students’ individual needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services and document progress
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students in reaching their goals
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Educate staff and parents on techniques to facilitate student success
