Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful impact in educational settings near Fort Hood, TX. This contract-to-hire position begins at the start of the 2025-2026 school year, with a targeted start date of August 14, 2025. The role offers full-time hours—37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm—serving K-12th grade students across 1-2 school sites. This is an ideal environment for professionals passionate about helping students achieve their fullest potential in communication and language development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), SLP-Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates, and experienced SLPAs encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team
• Experience or interest in serving diverse student populations across K-12th grade
• Teletherapy experience appreciated, but this role will be in-person (no VOCO at this time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between 1-2 sites within the district, as assigned
