About This Opportunity

All Points North (APN) is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled, and collaborative Integrated Telehealth & Family Therapist to join our growing telehealth program. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive behavioral health treatment services through our secure telehealth platform, providing individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy while serving as a vital member of our interdisciplinary treatment team.

This unique position blends individual and family systems work in equal measure, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives while supporting their families throughout the recovery journey. You'll work with clients managing mental health and substance use disorders across outpatient and intensive outpatient settings, collaborating seamlessly with psychiatry, case management, and residential programs to ensure continuity of care.

What You'll Do

Direct Clinical Care

• Provide individual psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's clinical presentation and treatment goals
• Deliver family and couples therapy using family systems approaches to strengthen relationships and support recovery
• Facilitate psychoeducational, experiential, skills-based, and process groups in a virtual environment
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress
• Complete treatment plan reviews and discharge summaries with clinical precision
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate safety planning
• Utilize measurement-based care to monitor clinical progress and adjust interventions as needed

Family Systems & Care Coordination

• Engage family members throughout treatment when clinically appropriate to strengthen support systems
• Provide psychoeducation and support to families regarding mental health, trauma, addiction, and recovery
• Evaluate family dynamics and identify opportunities to strengthen communication, boundaries, and healthy functioning
• Collaborate with residential, outpatient, medical, psychiatry, case management, and referral teams to coordinate seamless care
• Support smooth transitions between residential, PHP, IOP, OP, and continuing care services
• Maintain regular communication with referral sources and authorized family members regarding treatment progress

Group Programming

• Facilitate engaging virtual clinical groups while maintaining therapeutic structure and active participation
• Adapt interventions to meet the developmental and clinical needs of diverse patient populations
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed group environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate programming and maximize therapeutic outcomes

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within organizational timeframes
• Maintain timely progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, and discharge documentation
• Ensure documentation meets payer, accreditation, regulatory, and organizational standards
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and organizational policies

Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case consultations
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, case management, admissions, utilization review, and other clinical disciplines
• Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and required trainings
• Contribute practical ideas to quality improvement initiatives and program development
• Maintain current professional licensure and required continuing education
• Represent All Points North with professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution
• Current unrestricted clinical licensure in at least one U.S. state (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMHC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent independent behavioral health license)
• Minimum three years of clinical experience providing behavioral health treatment
• Demonstrated experience treating mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Demonstrated experience providing telehealth services
• Strong ability to manage clinical responsibilities independently and prioritize competing client needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound clinical judgment and ability to recognize when issues require escalation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based clinical platforms
• Ability to maintain a professional home workspace that complies with APN confidentiality, data security, and remote work policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in intensive outpatient (IOP) or outpatient (OP) treatment settings
• Specialized training or experience in family and couples therapy
• Formal training in trauma-informed treatment approaches
• Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Experience facilitating virtual group therapy
• Experience mentoring or supervising clinical staff

Physical and Work Requirements

While this is a remote telehealth position, the following physical capabilities support successful job performance:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods

• Ability to use computer equipment, video conferencing technology, and clinical software platforms
