Business System Analyst

Our Midstream Oil and Gas client here in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team! This position will partner closely with end-users and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and support solutions that enhance critical business applications. This role plays a key part in driving process improvements and ensuring systems effectively support core business functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial oil & gas applications. Key Responsibilities Elicit and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications Support and enhance commercial midstream applications (gas and/or liquids) Participate in Agile delivery (sprint ceremonies, backlog management, Jira tracking) Design and execute test plans to ensure system functionality meets business needs Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors and IT for resolution Lead or support projects from requirements through implementation Maintain system documentation and compliance artifacts Provide user support, training, and participate in on-call rotation Qualifications Experience supporting commercial midstream applications Strong understanding of contracts, tariffs, scheduling, measurement, invoicing, and settlements Experience working in Agile environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Emergent Professional Resources
