Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary functions will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of individuals, couples, and families to determine their mental health needs.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, while also meeting with each partner individually to explore their perspectives and experiences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique circumstances of each family, addressing issues such as conflict resolution, communication difficulties, and adjustment to life changes.

• Records management, including maintaining detailed and confidential patient notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers within our center to develop a holistic approach to patient care.

• Participating in regular training and development sessions to stay current with best practices and clinical approaches in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will work with a diverse array of patients facing various challenges such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues

• Physical and psychological trauma or abuse
\n
• Grief and loss, including adjustment to separation and divorce
\n
• Family conflicts, such as sibling disputes and parental conflicts
\n
• Concerns related to blended families and remarriage

• Chronic stress from medical issues or employment

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification in the state of Texas.

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n
