Workers’ Compensation Defense Paralegal

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Paralegal to support a high-volume legal practice. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment while playing a key role in case management, client communication, and legal document preparation. Location: Greenville, SC . Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys handling workers’ compensation defense matters Maintain organized case files, including filing, scanning, copying, and document management Coordinate schedules for depositions, hearings, and key deadlines; ensure all critical dates are tracked and met Draft, review, and edit legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy Prepare and organize medical records; develop detailed medical summaries Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and subpoenas Conduct legal research to support case needs Communicate professionally with clients, claims adjusters, medical providers, and outside counsel Manage incoming calls, correspondence, and general administrative tasks Ensure timely completion of assignments and accurate case tracking using firm systems Qualifications Required Mid-level paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Preferred Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field Familiarity with case management or billing/time-tracking software Demonstrated stability in work history and strong multitasking abilities Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off Flexible work model with remote/hybrid options Opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, team-oriented firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
