Data & AI Consulting Managing Director

Salary: $179,000 - 354,000 per year Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, technology services, or related industry leadership across the U.S. or Canada.
• 8+ years leading teams and complex Data & Analytics programs with accountability for delivery, clients, staffing, and financial performance.
• Background in data strategy and architecture, data engineering, data platforms, BI/analytics, governance, data quality, or master data management.
• Demonstrated ability to build, guide, and grow multidisciplinary Data & Analytics teams.
• Experience setting delivery governance, methodologies, resource management practices, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with modern Data/AI platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred.
• Ability to travel at least 50%.
• Preferred: experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream Data & Analytics transformations.
• Preferred: experience managing onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery teams.
• Preferred: strong understanding of revenue, margin, utilization, forecasting, staffing, and delivery economics.
• Preferred: experience building centers of excellence, reusable assets, and engineering standards.
• Preferred: proven ability to scale teams, develop leaders, and align workforce capability with business demand.
• Preferred: experience supporting Data & Analytics go-to-market efforts, offerings, and account growth while aligning sales commitments with delivery capacity.
• Preferred: ability to build trusted relationships with senior client executives and represent the firm in executive and industry forums.

• Lead our Data Strategy capability within the Data & Analytics practice, driving client outcomes, delivery quality, financial performance, and business development.
• Provide executive and architectural oversight for complex Data & Analytics engagements across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client satisfaction.
• Establish consistent delivery governance, methodologies, quality standards, risk controls, estimation practices, and executive reporting.
• Act as an executive sponsor and escalation point for strategic clients, resolving delivery issues and keeping work aligned to business goals.
• Build, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary Data & Analytics teams and future technology leaders.
• Collaborate across technology practices and strategic partners, including understanding product roadmaps and their impact on our D&A practice in North America.
• Own workforce and capacity planning, balancing skills, utilization, demand, delivery commitments, and professional development.
• Define and promote best practices across data strategy, architecture, engineering, modernization, analytics, data quality, and MDM.
• Drive adoption of reusable frameworks, reference architectures, accelerators, and delivery standards.
• Partner with sales and account teams on solution design, estimation, staffing, proposals, and the transition from presales to delivery.
• Maintain executive client relationships and identify opportunities for account and practice growth.

The starting pay range for this role is $179,000 to $354,000, and it may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
