Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Engineer - Battery Pack Assembly for a temporary assignment in Princeton, Indiana. This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $40.00 - $45.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. Key Responsibilities Support Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering [VME] Battery Pack Assembly group’s equipment development with NAMCs & Global teams Support equipment specification development to confirm standards compliance Support equipment machine risk assessment development and confirmation activities Complete Seibi equipment checks for Safety, Electrical & Mechanical design confirmations Confirm equipment, conveyor & logistics hardware for individual cell & zone safety interlocks Support Seibi equipment confirmations at vendor buy-off trials & larger zone trials Support equipment adjustment to ensure Safety, Quality & Productivity target achievement Engage in travel to vendors & NAMCs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico & Japan. Qualifications 2 Year associate’s degree in technical field, completion of a trade school, or 3+ Years relevant technical experience 2 Years Experience with PLC programming for Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron or Siemens Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings. Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams). Ability & willingness to work up to 25% overtime, possibly including 12-hours shifts with likelihood of significant weekend & holiday work Ability & willingness to travel up to 50% at peak times, both domestically & internationally. Added Bonus Experience with AMRs &/or AGVs and AGV Traffic Control systems.
