Our organization is in search of a Full-Time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care Practice located in Farmington, Maine .

The ideal candidate will become part of a vibrant team consisting of four physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APP), all supported by exceptional staff. Our Primary Care services encompass office-based medical care, as well as preventive and diagnostic cardiovascular services, catering to a community of around 40,000 residents. The local healthcare network fosters excellent collaboration and referral opportunities. In addition to a competitive base salary, our compensation structure offers substantial potential for additional earnings. The call schedule is 1:12, and the role includes opportunities for teaching nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students from the University of New England's UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School.

Our facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a dedicated medical staff of 50, serving a diverse patient population from a broad geographic area. Deliveries take place in a modern birthing unit staffed by qualified OB/GYN professionals, and the hospital is equipped with advanced ultrasound and multi-detector CT scanning technology, as well as state-of-the-art laparoscopic surgical equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• NRP certification is required; PALS certification is highly recommended.
