Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily self-care tasks.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic support for patients.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing development at home.
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licenses

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
