Non Registered Tech

Labcorp seeks a Non-Registered Technician for its Seattle laboratory to perform specimen processing, operate diagnostic instruments, and conduct quality control procedures on a night shift schedule. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a science field and strong technical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established departmental criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures using laboratory instruments
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to maintain proper functionality
• Execute preventative maintenance and quality control documentation procedures
• Process microbiology specimens and prepare, test new reagents or controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems preferred
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to work overtime or alternative shifts as needed

Compensation: $23.43-$37.22 per hour, plus third shift differential
