Shift Manager

Overview This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Shift Manager Responsibilities Lead and manage shifts, ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service. Provide leadership to crew and other managers, maintaining quality, service, and cleanliness. Plan shift staffing, monitor performance, address issues, and communicate with next shift manager. Monitor safety, security, and profitability; help departments meet goals. Exhibit responsibility for the following key areas: Food safety Internal communication Inventory management Daily maintenance and cleanliness Managing crew Quality food production > Exceptional customer service Safety and security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred (restaurant, retail, or hospitality). Positive team player with a flexible schedule. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
