Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential to collaborate with patients, staff, and the public. Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal care and hygiene.
• Provide comfort and support to patients and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Perform routine patient care tasks as directed by RN or LVN.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Document patient care and related duties accurately.
• Assist with patient ambulation, positioning, and feeding as needed.
• Support the healthcare team by following established procedures and protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current California CNA certificate.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Skilled experience in providing direct patient care.

• Experience working in a healthcare facility or similar environment.
• Interpersonal skills to interact tactfully and respectfully with residents and staff.

• Work under the supervision of RN or LVN.
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Day shift positions available.
• Work schedule determined by facility staffing needs.
