Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facility Operations Manager for a high-visibility, 100% on-site contract opportunity supporting a public sector courthouse facility in Ellicott City, MD. This role is ideal for a senior facilities leader who brings strong technical knowledge, disciplined contract management, and the ability to guide maintenance operations in a mission-critical environment.

The Facility Operations Manager will serve as the primary on-site liaison for stakeholders, oversee day-to-day facility operations, manage CMMS data and reporting, administer vendor and subcontractor performance, and lead preventive maintenance and lifecycle planning efforts. Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for client stakeholders, operational issues, contract matters, financial concerns, and facility service expectations.
- Lead facility staff, including supervision, coaching, hiring support, performance management, training, recognition, and team development.
- Manage operating budgets, financial forecasts, monthly operational reporting, and contract performance goals.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors, including contract administration, KPI monitoring, safety compliance, quality control, and cost management.
- Maintain accurate CMMS records, preventive maintenance documentation, repair justifications, extension requests, and relief event documentation.
- Direct facility operations, asset lifecycle planning, emergency response coordination, and maintenance of MEP, HVAC, BAS, fire alarm, security, and access control systems.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $50.00 to $52.00 per hour.
- Employment Type: 1-year contract.
- Work Structure: 100% on-site.
- Location: Ellicott City, MD 21043.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
