IT Support Lead

Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify an IT Support Lead (contract). In this role, you will serve as the primary technology support resource for a growing Austin office of approximately 150 employees. This highly visible role will act as the local face of IT, providing hands-on end-user support while partnering with global technology teams to ensure a seamless employee experience. This role is onsite in Austin, Tx. Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary onsite IT support resource for the Austin office.Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software, and end-user issues.Act as the local escalation point and coordinate with remote IT teams when necessary.Support employee onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and equipment deployment.Administer endpoint management platforms, including device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.Troubleshoot Mac and Windows devices, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware.Support cloud-based productivity and collaboration tools.Assist with user access management and application support.Support video conferencing technologies and conference room equipment.Maintain accurate asset inventory and support documentation.Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, and virtual desktop environment (VDI) issues.Manage and prioritize service requests, incidents, and escalations in a fast-paced environment.Identify opportunities to improve processes, user experience, and operational efficiency.
