Instructional Systems Designer The opportunity is to develop training that transforms intelligence analysis. As an Instructional Designer, you will work with subject‑matter experts to capture training needs, advise on learning solutions, and design performance‑support tools. You will create engaging, interactive learning experiences for screens or classrooms, recommend cutting‑edge multimedia and blended learning strategies, and evaluate course effectiveness using methods such as the Kirkpatrick Model. Your work will support national security missions and enhance the learning environment for intelligence analysts. Responsibilities Capture and analyze customer training needs with SMEs. Recommend appropriate learning solutions and advise on best practices. Design and develop training materials following the ADDIE model. Create performance support tools and interactive learning experiences. Recommend and integrate multimedia technologies and blended learning approaches. Collect, analyze, and report evaluation results (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model). Refine instructional content to maximize impact and learning outcomes. Lead and mentor peers, sharing expertise and identifying new training opportunities. Maintain current knowledge of instructional design, intelligence tradecraft, and national security concepts. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in training course development, instruction, intelligence analysis, or military capabilities. Expertise in instructional design methodologies and the ADDIE model. Deep knowledge of intelligence analysis tradecraft and national security concepts. Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination. Bachelor’s degree in an related field. Experience designing instruction for classroom and screen‑based formats.
