This role focuses on providing exceptional care in the Women's Care Unit, specializing in hysterectomy, mastectomy, and postpartum care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Administer care to patients undergoing hysterectomies, mastectomies, and postpartum recovery
• Manage patient care with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilize experience with NG and foley placements, blood administration, and titration of heparin and insulin drips
• Participate in a rotating weekend and holiday schedule
• Adapt to floating to other general medical units as needed

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current Illinois Nursing License
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience
• Proficiency in NG and foley placements, blood administration, and titration of heparin and insulin drips
