AIRLIFT OPERATIONS OFFICER

Air Reserve Technician

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) in the performance of mobility/war-time readiness support operations including planning, coordinating, and execution of the unit's ability to implement the Airlift Control Flight. Work manages the operations and administration of the Airlift Control Flight/Global Mobility Squadron programs and identifies logistical support requirements. The incumbent of this position also provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duty 1: Manages and administers the AFRC Airlift Control Flight Program: Provides administrative and technical oversight, ensuring that actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Directs meetings and exercises involving theater, MAJCOM, and NAF representatives and maintains liaison.

Duty 2: Organizes, develops, coordinates, and executes the wartime plans to meet the support requirements of COCOMS and MAJCOM airlift mission for Operational Plans: Planning activities include; training exercises, continental U.S. (CONUS) and outside continental U.S. (OCONUS) deployments, air expeditionary forces (AEF), and wartime tasking.

Duty 3: Operational and Readiness Reporting. Integrates and compiles information from a variety of sources, analyzes and determines reporting requirements using multiple HHQ instructions and guidance.

Duty 4: Manages Logistics and Air Transportation Activities: Performs logistics deliberate planning processes.

Duty 5: Resource Management: Conducts management studies, inquiries, and surveys to determine support requirements and to measure the effectiveness of existing structures in meeting objectives.
