Job Description
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade in a dynamic school environment. This contract role centers on conducting evaluations rather than routine student or staff interventions, perfect for professionals who excel in assessment and process oversight. You’ll work from the district office and collaborate with educational teams, shaping important decisions for student success.
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement; candidates with pending licensure considered if applying for travel roles
- Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation processes across a variety of age and grade levels
- Understanding of Early Intervention (EI) transitions and procedures such as TPBA is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative abilities
Your Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead domain meetings
- Complete student evaluations, supporting an annual caseload averaging 63 evaluations
- Oversee the Early Intervention (EI) transition process, including conducting TPBA assessments (approximately 17 cases per year)
- Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students as needed
- Manage responsibilities from the district office, with a focus on evaluation and processes rather than daily building-based student or staff needs
Role Details:
- Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Contract position available for immediate start, extending through June 19th, 2027
- CPI training is not required, as the role does not involve direct behavioral interventions or regular building-based duties
If you thrive in a structured environment focused on assessment and procedural oversight, this opportunity offers rewarding work impacting the educational journey for a diverse student population. Elevate your career by joining a supportive team dedicated to positive student outcomes—apply now and take the next step in your professional journey!
Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
