Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing established tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment.

• Offer education and supportive guidance to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance your clinical practice.

• Maintain confidential, accurate case files in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from various mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our client population is diverse, including vulnerable populations such as those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your role will involve understanding their unique challenges and working compassionately to facilitate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Pennsylvania is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
