As our Director of Human Resources, you'll serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, helping shape the future of our growing organization. This role goes beyond traditional HR-you'll influence organizational strategy, strengthen culture, develop talent, and ensure our people practices support both operational excellence and our mission of serving children and families.

What You'll Do

As Director of Human Resources, you will:

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead all areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, organizational development, performance management, engagement, and HR operations.
  • Develop leaders through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Strengthen recruitment and employer branding strategies to attract exceptional talent.
  • Champion a positive workplace culture that supports engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Oversee HR technology, workforce analytics, HRIS, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Use data and business insights to drive strategic decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead change management initiatives that support growth and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who brings both strategic vision and hands-on leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience leading multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, compliance, performance management, and organizational development
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (iSolved experience preferred)
