We are looking for a dependable Facilities Assistant to help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly in Amarillo, Texas. This Long-term Contract position supports a fast-paced transportation equipment manufacturing environment by coordinating day-to-day facility needs, maintaining organized work areas, and assisting with operational support tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach to maintaining a safe, efficient workplace.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate maintenance needs by logging service requests, following up on open items, and helping ensure repairs are completed promptly.
• Perform regular walkthroughs of warehouse and office areas to spot safety concerns, upkeep needs, and opportunities to improve daily operations.
• Monitor stock levels for facility, office, and warehouse supplies, and arrange replenishment to avoid disruptions.
• Work with outside vendors, contractors, and service partners to schedule and support facility-related work.
• Assist with site security practices by helping manage building access, key distribution, and related control procedures.
• Keep accurate documentation for inspections, preventive maintenance activities, vendor services, and facility agreements.
• Support workspace organization, equipment location tracking, and general setup needs across the warehouse environment.
• Help uphold workplace safety expectations and company standards throughout the facility.
• Provide additional operational support through mail handling, shipping and receiving assistance, and timely response to employee facility concerns.
• Contribute to site improvement efforts by assisting with special assignments, workspace enhancements, and facility upgrade projects.• Experience supporting warehouse duties, facilities coordination, or general site operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and follow through on requests in a timely manner.
• Strong attention to detail when maintaining records, tracking supplies, and monitoring facility conditions.
• Comfortable communicating with employees, vendors, and service providers clearly and respectfully.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and the importance of maintaining a compliant environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while adapting to changing daily priorities.
• Proficiency with standard administrative tasks such as recordkeeping, scheduling, and inventory tracking.
