Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care to high-risk obstetrical patients, including assisting with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and neonatal resuscitation. The position supports maternal and newborn health across various stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Job Details

• Position Description: L&D Nights. Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted. Certifications required in hand at time of submission include Basic Life Support (BLS), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Required Qualifications: Valid KS or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, and valid Allied license if submitting to allied job. 2 years of experience preferred; minimum of 0 years.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week minimum.
• Additional Information: The role involves care of the laboring patient including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and more, for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater. Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, external cephalic versions, and postpartum care. You will be expected to float to like units as needed and receive orientation on the unit.
