Project Manager

Soil Stabilization Field Supervisor (Nashville/Knoxville, TN) Rembco seeks motivated, reliable and punctual achievers who enjoy working outdoors, even in adverse conditions. The candidate will demonstrate aptitude for learning, remembering, planning, organizing, sequencing, decision-making, and physical strength and coordination. He/she will act as both team leader and team member to achieve safety, technical excellence, and client satisfaction. Maintain and promote a safe work environment. Organize materials, tools, and equipment for construction projects with a crew of 5‑7. Perform soil stabilization projects using drills, grout plants, compressors, forklifts, loaders, cutting torches, welders, etc. Follow instructions, provide input, and improvise to meet quality, quantity, and timeliness goals. Communicate with co‑workers to foster good relations. Priority I: Perform Soil Stabilization Projects Maintain and promote a safe work environment. Mobilize – prepare/pack tools, materials, and equipment for transportation from warehouse. Set‑up job site for work and clean‑up after completion. Operate and oversee hand tools, power tools, and equipment to implement work plan. De‑mobilize – clean‑up job site, gather tools, materials, and equipment, and pack for transportation. Un‑pack tools, materials, and equipment and re‑stock into warehouse. Priority II: Complete Training and Assist with Training Other Employees Complete employee training to improve performance and expand competencies. Assist with training personnel (safety, operational). Priority III: Assist with Planning and Communication Help develop work and contingency plans. Implement contingency plans when appropriate. Communicate tactfully with co‑workers to achieve company goals and promote good relations. Other Responsibilities as Assigned Physical: On the job, employee must bend, sit, stand, kneel, walk, climb, handle objects (manual dexterity), push/pull, reach above shoulder level, use fine finger movements, carry/lift loads of moderate to heavy weight (25–95 lbs.), give and receive verbal communication. Mental: Must be able to read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, and reason and analyze. Environmental: Exposed to excessive noise, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature/humidity, dust, fumes, gases, drives motorized equipment, and occasionally works in confined quarters. Education: Required: High school diploma or GED, good written and verbal skills, computer literate, driver’s license, willingness to travel, mechanical aptitude, pass drug screen. Preferred: College degree or some college. Experience with auger and down‑hole hammer drills, grout plants, grout pumps, application of Shotcrete® or Gunite®. Rembco is a Drug Free Workplace. Additional Responsibilities as Assigned Field supervise mobilization, travel, and on‑site work for a crew of 5–7. Direct mobilization, travel, set‑up for work. Implement training for personnel (safety, operational). Operate and oversee the operation of equipment and tools. Evaluate subordinate performance and provide feedback. Track work progress – log and report as required (timesheets, daily logs, mileage reports). Implement contingency plans when appropriate. Complete expense reports and submit on a timely basis. Communicate tactfully with internal and external clients to achieve company goals and maintain client satisfaction. Order materials. Drilling Crew Lead (Nashville/Knoxville, TN) Responsible for drilling holes, monitoring conditions, producing quality product (clean holes, clean cased holes) and conserving equipment. Lead crews in the operation and care of drilling equipment including top‑hammer & duplex with casing systems. Cooperate with others to achieve company goals. Show respect for company property. Be reliable, on‑time, and have a good work ethic. Listen, understand and follow instructions. Occasionally requires strenuous physical labor. Work outdoors year‑round, sometimes in extreme conditions. This position reports to the Superintendent. Priority I: Drill Quality Holes Maintain and promote a safe work environment. Safely operate and maintain drilling equipment. Select, use and maintain appropriate tools to support drilling activities. Produce quality product (clean holes, clean cased holes). Conserve company equipment by observing drilling operation and adjusting methods & techniques. Priority II: Lead Drilling Crew Meet or exceed safety, quality, quantity, and timeliness goals as defined by Superintendent. Serve as crew chief and supervisor of 1–2 helpers. Tactfully work with superintendent, drilling crew, co‑workers, customers, others. Priority III: Communicate and Calculate Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple instructions and reports. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations. Other Responsibilities as Assigned Travel to and from job sites as required. Education: Health certificate, high school diploma or GED, good written and verbal skills, computer literate, driver’s license, willingness to travel, mechanical aptitude, pass drug screen. Preferred: College degree or some college. Experience with auger and down‑hole hammer drills, grout plants, grout pumps, application of Shotcrete® or Gunite®. Rembco is a Drug Free Workplace. We are searching for a procurement specialist to coordinate project purchases, resources, and jobsite mobilizations. The procurement specialist is responsible for initiating and organizing material purchases, construction equipment rentals, arranging internal resource and equipment transportation, ensuring purchases are consistent with project budgets and quality expectations, and maintaining relationships with trade partners. Your Role: Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to procure material and equipment rentals from appropriate partners to ensure projects mobilize ready to construct. Monitor purchases for budget compliance compared to the initial proposal. Plan procurement to the construction timeline, ensuring that material deliveries, equipment rental agreements, and mobilizations are on‑track. Organize internal equipment mobilization with third‑party trucking agencies. Maintain relationships with trade partners and suppliers to source quality materials at the best value with favorable terms. Ensure site preparations are met prior to project commencement, including notifying appropriate utility locate entities and maintaining them throughout the project duration. Establish and maintain the Procurement Schedule, including attending project scheduling meetings as necessary. Support Project Managers in preparation of the cost buildup for competitive bids. Reports to Project Executive. Your Requirements: Experience with construction materials and equipment. Thorough understanding of supply chain practices in the construction industry. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules. Extremely detail oriented and organized. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem solving and the ability to manage multiple projects’ demands simultaneously. Strong knowledge of MS Office. Must be a team player, self‑motivated, and flexible. We are searching for an Associate Project Manager to assist with planning and coordinating all activities associated with the overall execution of the project from RFP to Close‑Out. The Associate PM supports backlog, scheduling, planning, submittals, supplier and subcontractor buyout and coordination, change orders, project closeout, and final project profitability. Your Role: Assist PMs with the RFP pipeline and proposal process on a per project basis from pursuit to contract execution; support bidding volume and active contract backlog to meet revenue goals. Coordinate vendor and subcontractor resources. Learn to identify and obtain construction materials, supplies, internal and external equipment needs prior to startup. Monitor project performance in order to eliminate risk and to achieve technical excellence, safety and engineering standards, on time completion, and target profits. Participate in the pay application process, helping to ensure project positive cash flow. Identify and process change requests in an accurate and timely manner. Provide support to superintendents and project managers, maintain jobsite quality control and safety, and ensure client satisfaction. Report on all aspects of the project to the Project Managers. Maintain complete and accurate project documentation. Assist in the preparation of regular forecast updates and cost analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvements and establish process documentation. Your Requirements: Experience in project management and cost estimating or equivalent education. Preferred experience in or familiarity with soil mechanics, foundation design, ground improvement, and earth retention systems. Problem solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Change Leadership – supports and searches for opportunities for continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of MS Office. Must be a team player, self‑motivated, flexible, and detail oriented. Your Role: Support soil stabilization and deep foundation projects, such as micropiles, sinkhole repair, grouting, ground anchors, soil nailing, and others. Maintain and promote a safe working environment. Prepare job sites for construction by cleaning and removing debris. Clean up after the job is complete. Meet safety and quality standards through supervisor instruction and direction. Assist in project mobilization and demobilization by properly packing tools and equipment for transportation. Safely oversee and operate hand tools, power tools, compressors, forklifts, loaders, etc. Cooperate with team members to ensure project timeliness, safety, and quality. Your Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to pass a drug screening test. Ability to lift/carry/move up to 100 lbs. Willingness to travel out of town and work typical 10‑12 hour shifts Monday through Friday. Ability to operate heavy equipment and have mechanical aptitude. Preferred experience with auger and down‑hole hammer drills, grout plants, grout pumps, application of shotcrete. Willingness to work outdoors, including exposure to excessive noise, elements, and inclement weather. Must be a good communicator, team player, self‑motivated, and flexible. Your Rewards: Hourly rate starting at $20.00 with the opportunity for overtime pay and an annual bonus. 100% Company Paid Health Insurance Benefits in the base network and Vision Insurance regardless of coverage type (employee, family, etc.).
