Agile Scrum Master

Agile Scrum MasterGenesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master for an Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Denver, CO, Chicago, IL or Washington, DC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.In this role, you will lead and direct agile project teams to deliver project-defined business outcomes, acting as a process coach within a cross-functional software development team. You will guide the team's adherence to agile values, identify risks, propose solutions, and lead the removal of impediments to clear the path for the team's continued progress.Responsibilities:Lead and direct agile project teams to deliver the project-defined business outcomesAct as a process coach within a cross-functional software development teamGuide the team's adherence to the agile values and principles within the software development lifecycleSupport the team in identifying risk, identifying proposed solutions for identified issues, and leading the removal of impedimentsManage scrum team coordination, work with Product Owners and Technical Leads in managing the backlog, and provide support for backlog related activitiesConsult and coach other Scrum Teams and support the development of Agile Scrum processesRequirements:8+ years of demonstrable experience of Scrum ManagementStrong organization and facilitation skills, including the ability to prioritize work and drive out deadlinesExpert ability to track, manage and resolve dependencies, blockers, issues, and risksStrong analytical skills and drive to take initiative and be proactive to collect details needed to address blockersStrong ability to lead, influence and drive team efforts and resultsMust work well with internal and external team members, with an ability to manage and resolve conflicts collaboratively and with patienceAdvanced experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Release Management toolsExcellent written, oral communication, and presentation skillsHands-on experience with managing large scale agile, technical projects and executive communicationsAble to work independently with limited supervisionExperience building dashboards and filtering/lookups in JiraExperience working in an Agile development process and deep understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life CycleDesired skills:Experience or understanding of SOAR, SIEM, TINESUnderstanding of Enterprise Change StandardsPay range: $68.38 - $76.38 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
