Erosion Control / Hydroseeding Technician
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking employee with experience in hydroseeding, silt fence installation, and erosion control practices. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of site stabilization methods, the ability to operate equipment safely, and experience working on construction or land development projects. Responsibilities: Perform hydroseeding operations on commercial and residential job sites.Install, repair, and maintain silt fence, wattles, inlet protection, and other erosion control measures.
Assist with site preparation, grading, and stabilization activities.
Operate trucks, hydroseeders, excavators, tractors, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and follow site plans, specifications, and environmental compliance requirements.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications: Previous experience with hydroseeding and erosion control required.
Experience installing silt fence and other sediment control measures.
Experience operating excavators, tractors, and related equipment preferred.
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience.
