Senior Capture Manager - Intel Sector

The Analysis Solutions Business Area within Leidos’ Intelligence Sector is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to lead high-performing capture teams. We are looking for a driven manager ready to join a fast paced team who will be responsible for winning new business, and protecting and growing current work within the Intelligence Community market.The successful candidate possesses technical education and related professional experience, resourcefulness, and motivation to join a cohesive, winning team. The position will report to the Director of Capture Management for the Analysis Solutions Business Area. The position is located primarily in Chantilly, VA and requires a Secret clearance with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly.Primary Responsibilities:The Sr Capture Manager is responsible for developing and leading the execution of the business area’s overall capture strategy on approved pursuit efforts, increasing the win probability of new and existing projects.Duties may include the following:Orchestrating bid strategyProviding oversight of the development of proposal volumesConducting market and competition analysisCreating, leading, and supporting capture and proposal teams.The selected candidate should have experience successfully executing corporate business development and capture management processes, and be prepared to bring those skills to the Analysis Solutions Business Area. This includes:Working closely with the Analysis Solutions Business Area Leadership, Account Executives, Line/Market teams, and the required corporate and external capture and proposal resources; and efficiently managing bid and proposal fundingCoordination and Collaboration includes working with:Business development and marketing leads to transition from opportunity identification into active captureAssembling and managing the capture team to successfully bid and win contractsContacting and interfacing with existing and new clients and partners, communicating the organization’s core capabilities, and building differentiated teams of small and large partnersAdditional responsibilities include:Lead generations of entire sections, volumes, proposals, and/or capturesDeveloping solutions to difficult challenges and work through issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and domain understandingCollaborates with internal stakeholders, business development and operations team members, as well as customer leadership and external stakeholdersWork collaboratively with team members to generate and validate solution designs, process and/or approachesParticipate in and/or lead opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, proposal and program reviews, and lessons learned activities; communicates status, resource needs, capture strategy, and recommendations to executive leadershipOversee the proposal phase of the opportunity to drive successful delivery to the clientContribute feedback and innovative ideas to the team in support of continuous improvement.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experienceDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective collaboration and inclusive leadership skillsFamiliarity with federal government acquisition types, processes, and toolsDemonstrated skills in areas relevant to business development including: opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer and industry collaboration, and team leadershipCandidate must possess at least an active Secret clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience capturing and winning business with proven skill at opportunity qualification, stakeholder engagement, solution development, and proposal submissionProven record of success managing and winning capture efforts within the Intelligence Community.Experience in the development and successful negotiation of teaming agreementsExperience in the development of competitive pricing strategies and associated cost proposalsActive Top Secret / SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a successful polygraphIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
