This role focuses on assembling a variety of hair clippers using hand and power tools in a clean, well-lit production environment. You will rotate through different stations on the assembly line every two hours, allowing you to learn multiple processes and avoid performing the same task all day.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of hair clippers using hand tools and power tools according to production standards and instructions.
• Work with small parts accurately and efficiently to ensure high-quality finished products.
• Rotate through multiple stations on the assembly line approximately every two hours to support different stages of the production process.
• Follow established safety procedures while using hand and power tools and handling small components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
• Meet productivity and quality targets as set by the production team.
• Collaborate with team members and support general production and general labor tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of assembly experience.
• Ability to work confidently and accurately with small parts.
• Experience using hand tools in a production or assembly setting.
• Ability to perform general production and general labor tasks.
• Capability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to rotate through different stations and tasks on a regular basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience is a plus.
• More than 1 year of assembly experience is preferred.
• Comfort working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to learn multiple lines and stations within the assembly area.

You will work in a bright, very clean facility that supports learning and variety in your day-to-day tasks. The team encourages cross-training, giving you the chance to learn multiple lines and stations and build a broader skill set. The environment promotes stability, consistency, and the opportunity to grow your experience in assembly and manufacturing. Starting pay of $18/hr.

This position operates on 2nd shift, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with two hours of voluntary overtime available before the shift. You will work in a well-lit, very clean production facility alongside a team-focused assembly line. The role involves regular use of hand and power tools, handling small parts, and rotating between different stations every two hours to support a dynamic and engaging workflow.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturtevant, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
