Lab Assistant

PAML, a Labcorp company, seeks a Lab Assistant for its Richland, Washington facility to receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing. The position operates on a night shift schedule (10 pm to 6:30 am) with rotating weekends and involves equipment maintenance, data entry, and quality assurance duties.

Responsibilities Receive, sort, and prepare clinical laboratory specimens for analysis Perform data entry and scanning of specimen and patient information Monitor laboratory equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance Troubleshoot and resolve specimen-related issues Maintain clean, safe work environment and replenish supplies as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable handling and accurately identifying biological specimens Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills Ability to pass standardized color blindness test Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science (preferred) Prior laboratory or hospital specimen processing experience, 6+ months (preferred) Compensation:

$18.15 to $25.32 per hour plus third shift differential
