Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient, and tailor bespoke treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and restoring function
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge logistics, and prescribed home exercises
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Take part in interdisciplinary care team rounds and conferences, ensuring cohesive care delivery

Education

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) considered advantageous, but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a relevant setting is highly preferred
• Proficient in managing patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges
