About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Portland, Oregon, 97213!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required. License: Valid State License required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Must-Have: Previous travel experience in a medical/surgical nursing role. Description: This position will float between units as needed. Weekends are required every other weekend. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Candidates must possess skills in various nursing competencies, including intravenous insulin administration and colostomy care. Travelers may be required to float to other facilities within the system based on skill sets. Communication devices will be supplied if needed for assignment purposes. Those who refuse to float may risk termination of their assignment. Providers will be compensated for work-related cell phone use upon approval. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless instructed for an agreed-upon interview. This role requires commitment to work three of five major holidays during the contract term. References covering the last three years are required. All requests for time off must be communicated upfront during the application process. Inflexibility may lead to contract termination.
