Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to join a local team. This role is responsible for coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, managing schedules, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers. Essential Job Duties:

• Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls based on customer needs, technician availability, and geographic location.
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments as necessary to maximize efficiency.
• Communicate with customers regarding service appointments, updates, and scheduling changes.
• Receive and process incoming service requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Create, maintain, and update work orders, service tickets, and customer records.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service calls.
• Track job progress and provide status updates to customers and management.
• Review completed work orders for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist with inventory coordination, parts ordering, and service-related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
• Support billing and invoicing processes by ensuring service documentation is complete.
• Provide general administrative support to the service department.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dispatching, service coordination, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with dispatching, CRM, or scheduling software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and adapt to changing schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset.
