Job Description
Title
Sterile Processing / Endoscope Reprocessing

Schedule
Shift: 1500-2330, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends
On-call required

Assignment Details
Census: 20-30 patients per day; ~15 rooms

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience
- Travel experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Valid license required
- Certifications: BLS; CBSPD; IAHCSMM/HSPA; CFER
- Experienced in flexible endoscope reprocessing, manual cleaning, high-level disinfection, ultrasonic cleaning
- Proficient in use of Steris mechanical washers, Steris V-Pro low-temp sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, loaner tray handling

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform flexible endoscope reprocessing in accordance with established protocols.
- Conduct manual cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopic equipment.
- Operate washer and sterilization equipment effectively and safely.
- Assemble sterile instrument trays and manage loaner consignment trays.
- Provide training and support to new staff members as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and hygiene regulations.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 8 hours required
- Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Background checks and drug screening may be required
