Health and Wellness Coordinator - Assistant Director of Nursing RN

Position Summary:

In coordination with the Health & Wellness Director the HWC will help manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change.

Essential Duties include but not limited to:

• Resident Assessments

• Medication Audits

• Overseeing Nursing staff / schedules

• Family care plan meetings & updates

• State reporting as required

• Following state regulations and compliance

• Communicating with doctors, hospitals and other LTC/rehab facilities

• Filling in as floor nurse as needed (could include night or weekend shift)

• Must be available for weekend manager on duty rotation as required by community

Education and Experience

Education as required to obtain state nursing license (RN) and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Preferred Assisted Living or Long Term Care experience.

Preferred prior manager/supervisor experience.

Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements

RN license.
