Plumbing Inspector

About the PositionThe City of Saint Paul Department of Safety and Inspections is hiring an individual to perform full performance inspections work to ensure that plumbing and drainage alterations, and installations are consistent with approved plans and specifications, in accordance with the requirements of the Minnesota Plumbing Code, the Minnesota State Building Code, and Saint Paul Regional Water Service Codes.Here's what you can expect to do:Inspect and report on installations and alterations of plumbing work to assure that approved materials are used, and proper workmanship is performed.Issue orders and enforce corrections on non-compliant items.Perform tests of plumbing installations, equipment, and materials.Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: The City of Saint Paul is dedicated to dismantling systemic racial, cultural, and economic barriers that prevent people from fully enjoying and participating in our community and ensuring fairness in opportunities and outcomes for all individuals.
