Supervises employees and workload. Performs and monitors technical procedures and equipment. Develops employees through evaluations and performance improvement. Enforces department and hospital policies. Provides direct and indirect patient care in a hospital setting. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patients’ clinical laboratory test results. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in testing environment. Educates employees on new procedures as needed; interactions with patients and family member result in patient satisfaction.
