Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant that supports the accounting department with maintaining transactional and financial statement integrity by preparing and recording assets, liability, equity, revenue, and expense entries, compiling, and analyzing account information and resolving discrepancies. This role also assists in maintaining the control environment and supporting the audit function and will focus on managing the inventory transaction cycle as well as supporting the accounting supervisor with order-to-cash transactions and process enhancements. Responsibilities Prepare and review daily inventory transactions, review related balance sheet and P&L accounts for accuracy; Support the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly results, including both preparation and review of inventory transactions; Prepare monthly accruals related to the production supply chain and related reconciliations; Prepare quarterly journal entries related to inventory value and reserves; Create PO’s and approve vendor bills related to inventory supply chain; Generally support the accounting supervisor with all sales channels in the order-to-cash cycle; Identify, suggest, and adhere to internal control policies and procedures; Perform revenue, receivable, cash posting & reconciliations as well as other general GL-based month-end close responsibilities as it relates to commercial operations; Assist with consignment orders and accounting, including collections efforts with customers Assist with insurance reimbursements through the TEBRA system; Help expand and maintain the ERP system, including potential integrations with other systems; Record and review accounting transactions following the internal control processes; Provide assistance for special accounting projects as needed Requirements Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience is ideal Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting Manufacturing and/or Revenue & Accounts Receivable experience a plus CPA license a plus Interest in the accounting function of a publicly traded company Analytical skills and a sound understanding of accounting principles Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and effective record keeping Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work to meet challenging deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills along with a positive, team-oriented attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr Andrews & Cole
