Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Stafford, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use communication and customer service skills while documenting activity with computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue08:00 AM - 04:30 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:30 PMSat08:00 AM - 04:30 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related duties. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
